"Sleep" from Five Elizabethan Songs (Grade 3) is a new transcription of this beautiful vocal work by the English Composer, Ivor Gurney. This beautiful transcription explores many of the colors of this dark and dreamy work. Oboe, Euphonium, Saxophone, and Horn take over the majority of the vocal line weaving in and out of a rolling accompaniment. Take all of the freedom that you want while conducting this new addition to the repertoire.
