I've always had a fascination with the Jewish culture, and specifically, their music. Maybe it's growing up with "The Rugrats," maybe "The Nanny," or maybe my deep research and admiration for Leonard Bernstein; who knows?

Plus Yiddish words are a big part of our culture!

But there is a fire, an energy that exists in Jewish music.

Perhaps it is their tenacity over centuries of persecution?

A devotion to their Creator?

An excuse to let off steam - and just have a little fun?

I have sought to portray that fire in this short dance. Perhaps it's a dance at a wedding, perhaps a celebration of another kind....whatever it is, there is energy and a whole lot of fun!
